Christmas Deer and cow head brooch crochet pattern, PDF in English

Simple and elegant deer+cow crochet brooch is a part of the clothes, which adds spice to your look. It will do to wear it casually or for any special occasion! (Due to the presence of small parts, this toy is not suitable for the children under 10)

To crochet deer you would need:

1. Basic crochet skills: chain stitch, magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase

2. Materials:

-Yarn. All of the same weight. I’ve used Coco by Vita, 100% mercerized cotton, fingering yarn, measuring 240 m/50 gr (262 yds/1.76 oz). Beige, brown to make the deer, beige, yellow, pink to make the cow, red and white to make the cap.

-Corresponding hook. Mine is 1,3 mm (US size 10)

-Filler

-Black mouline thread to embroider the snout

-Half-bead eyes 6 mm

-Glue for eye

-Brooch pin, mine is 2 cm

-Any means to add tone to cheeks. I have red oil pastels + blender brush;

-Scissors, tapestry needle to sew the parts

-Pins

-Stitch marker (I have a contrasting thread)

-A cut of fine wire (~10 cm)(~4 inches) to make horns. My wire is 0.6 mm thick.

-Sticking tape to cover sharp wire ends

If you use the materials mentioned above, your brooch will measure around 6 cm (2.36 inch)
