Busy foxy buddy toy crochet pattern, PDF in English

I suggest we crochet this wonderful busy foxy buddy. You can’t help playing with toy. You can pocket his hands, or just cross them. He is able to stand leaning against his tail. Any yarn will do, depending on the size of the toy you wish to get. I’ve use a 3-ply yarn. The head is attached with the help of a cotter pin, it can turn around its axis. Or you can just sew the head.

 

(Due to the presence of small parts, this toy is not suitable for the children under 10)

To crochet fox you would need:

1. Basic crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase

2. Materials:

• Any yarn of the same weight. I used a 3-ply yarn 100% mercerized cotton, Coco by Vita, measuring 240 m/50gr ( 262 yds/1.76 oz) and Uspeshnaya by Pekhorka 220 m/50 gr (240 yds/ 1.76 oz). Basiс color – orange, black to make the paws, white – to make the tip of the tail, brown – to make pants, peach – to make the t-shirt with long sleeves, lilac – to crochet the scarf.

• Matching hook. Mine is 1.3 mm

• Filler

• 4 mm insertable eyes

• CA glue for eyes

• Black and white Mouline thread to decorate the snout (any lace yarn will do as well)

• To attach the head – two 9 mm (0.35 inches) discs and one T-shaped cotter pin 1.6*20 mm (0.03 *0.78 inches) . The head will turn around its axis.

• Round pliers to work with the pin.

• Needle to sew the parts together, scissors

• Stich marker to indicate the beginning of the round (I have a thread of contrasting color), pins

If you use the materials mentioned above, the height of the toy, ears included, is around 11 cm (~ 4 inches).
