Marshmellow Butterfly brooch crochet pattern, PDF in ENG

Once on a sunny day at some forest meadow, among flowers and grass, a tiny butterfly was born.

In this pattern you can find crochet instructions on how to make two brooches – butterfly and heart.

Tutorial is written in English (US terms), in .pdf format consists of 9 pages and includes around 35 photos

To crochet butterfly you would need:

1.Basic crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase, chain stitch, slip stitch

2.Materials:

Any lace yarn. All colors are of the same weight. Mine are 100% mercerized cotton Pelican by Vita 330 m / 50 gr (365 yds / 1.76 oz) of different colors.

Matching hook. Mine is 0.75 mm (metric)

Filler

Fine wire to make the horns. Ideally black or brow, in order not to wrap the wire around with a thread. I have a floristic wire in a white braiding 0.5 mm

Pliers and round pliers to work with the wire.

If necessary, glue to wrap the wire around with the thread, fine black thread.

Black Mouline embroidery floss to embroider the eyes.

Any means to add tone to the cheeks. I used black and red dry pastels + blender blush

Brooch pin, mine is 2 cm

Scissors, fine needle

Pins

Stitch marker (I have a contrasting thread)
