Halloween Ghost brooch crochet pattern, PDF in English

Boooo-oooo! Scared? Let’s get prepared to Halloween. I suggest we crochet this horribly cute brooch. It will make a wonderful emphasis and create an unusual look.

(Due to the presence of small parts, this toy is not suitable for the children under 10)

The written pattern in .pdf format consists of 8 pages and includes around 25 photos, 3 video links.

To crochet ghost you would need:

1. Basic crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, double crochet, decrease, increase

2. Materials:

• White lace yarn. I’ve used 100% mercerized cotton, Pelican by Vita 330 m/50 gr (360 yds/1.76 oz)

• Matching hook. Mine is 0.75 mm (metric)

• Filler

• A cut of fine wire ti make arms measuring 0.5 – 0.6 mm in diameter

• Sticking tape to cover sharp wire ends

• Pliers to work with the wire

• Eyes. Mine are 3 mm insertable eyes

• Liquid instant glue (must be liquid) to design the mouth and attach the eyes.

• And any other glue you work with to wrap the wire ends around with the yarn (or the same liquid glue)

• Brooch pin, mine is 1.5 cm (0.59 inch)

• Any means in black to add tone and a brush. I’ve used dry pastels.

• Scissors, fine needle

• Pins

• Stitch marker (I have a contrasting thread)

This crochet tutorial is written in English (US terms).

If you use the materials mentioned above, the size of your brooch will be around 6 cm (~2 inches).
