Crochet pattern bundle: 2 mouse brooch crochet patterns, mice brooches

They have met each other and become happy: Tim, the guitarist mouse and Piu, the princess. The bundle includes two patterns of the girl-mouse brooch and boy-mouse with the guitar brooch.

(Due to the presence of small parts, this toy is not suitable for the children under 10)

To crochet mice you would need:

1. Basic crochet skills: chain stitch, magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase, double crochet

2. Materials:

• Yarn: all of the same thickness. I use 100% mercerized cotton:

Vita Cotton 240 m/50 gr (262.5 yds/1.76 oz);

Pekhorka Uspeshnaya 220 m/50 gr (250 yds/ 1.7 oz)

• Corresponding hook. Mine is  1,3 mm (US size 10)

• Filler

• Thin elastic shelled wire for the tail;

• Sticking tape for sharp wire ends;

• Glue, I have a CA glue;

• 1 eye, mine is a 3 mm insertable eye

• Any means to add tone to cheeks and ears. I have a red lipstick, oil pastel and a blender brush

• Scissors, tapestry needle to sew the parts

• Black DMC cotton thread to embroider the eyebrow

• Black sewing thread

• Brooch pin

• Optionally: pins, stitch marker

To crochet guitar you would need:

1. Basic crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase

2. Materials:

• Yarns: all of the same thickness and finer than the yarns used for the mouse itself. Mine are 100% mercerized cotton:

Guitar frame – Iris by YarnArt in lemon color, 138 m / 20 gr (150 yds/0.7 oz);

Guitar neck – Pelican by Vita in 330m/50gr (360 yds/1.76 oz) in brown;

Guitar head – Dandy by Kamteks in black, 330m/50 gr (360 yds/1.76 oz)

• Corresponding hook. Mine is 0.75 (US size 12)

• Filler

• Metallized Moulin thread for the strings (you can just use a normal sewing thread

• A piece of firm plastic

• Sticking plaster

• CA glue

• Scissors, fine needle

If you use the materials mentioned above, you’ll get a 6 cm (2.36 inch) girl-mouse brooch.

If you use the materials mentioned above, you’ll get a 7 cm (2.75 inch) boy-mouse brooch. Guitar’s height is around 4.5 cm (1.57 inch)
