Naughty kitten cat brooch crochet pattern, PDF in English

These kittens are very playful and vigorous; their tricks would never make you feel bored. They are always up for a game, to run around the house and to be active round the clock. Just a live anti depressant! Let’s crochet together this “naughty kitten” brooch, which is sure to make your look more bright and joyful.

 

This crochet tutorial is written in English (US terms), in .pdf format consists of 10 pages and includes around 40 photos, 3 video links

 

To crochet kitten you would need:

1.Basic crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase, double crochet, half double crochet, chain stitch, slip stitch

2.Materials:

-Any lace yarn. All colors are all of the same weight. My yarn is 100% mercerized cotton, Pelican by Vita 330 m/50 gr (365 yds/1.76 oz) in two colors

-Matching hook. Mine is 0.75 mm (metric)

-Filler

-Mouline embroidery floss, pink to embroider the nose and paws, black to embroider the eyes and metallized floss to embellish the brooch with French knots

-Any means to add tone to the cheeks and body. I used black and red dry pastels + blender blush

-Brooch pin, mine is 2 cm

-Scissors, fine needle

-Pins

-Stitch marker (I have a contrasting  thread)
