Hare brooch crochet pattern, PDF in English

This is another brooch crochet pattern for a “big eyed cuties” crochet pattern series.  Recently when it came to a brooch,  one used to imagine a vintage item from a granny’s jewelry box. But today it is something not only beautiful, glamorous but fashionable as well. I suggest you crochet  an animal brooch “Hare”.  This bunny brooch  will compliment  an adult or child’s look and make you become the sole center of attention.

 

Here is the list of what you’d need-

1. Basic crochet skills – chain stitch, magic ring, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, half-double crochet.

2. Materials:

• Yarn: all of the same thickness. I use 100% mercerized cotton:

green Vita Coco 240 m/50 gr (262 yds/ 1.7 oz)

white Pekhorka Uspeshnaya  220 m/50 gr (240 yds/1.7 oz)

• Corresponding  hook. Mine is  1,3 mm (US size 10)

• Filler

• Black beads for eyes

• Tapestry needle to sew the parts and a needle to sew on beads

• Black DMC thread for snout design

• Scissors

• Brooch pin,mine is 2 cm (0.7 inch)

• Optionally: pins, stitch marker
