Big-eyed piglet toy crochet pattern, PDF in English

You have some crochet skills but still didn’t set up your  mind  about the gifts for friends, children or colleagues? Grab this toy crochet pattern and make stunning crochet piglets in love. They would make an ideal home décor item or a child’s favorite toy.

Here is the list of what you’d need-

1. Crochet skills – chain stitch, magic ring, double and treble crochets, half double crochet, decrease, increase, tightening.

2. Materials:

· Yarn: all of the same thickness. I use 100% mercerized:

pinc Vita Coco 240 m/50 gr (262 yds/ 1.7 oz)

white Pekhorka Uspeshnaya  220 m/50 gr (240 yds/1.7 oz)

· Corresponding  hook. Mine is  1,3 mm (US size 10)

· Filler

· Black beads for eyes

· Tapestry needle to sew the parts and a needle to sew on beads

· Black DMC thread for snout design

· Scissors

· Optionally: pins, stitch marker

· Carton

· Glue

For design:

· Fine yarn. Mine is :

Lama Classic in brown color,  235 m/50 gr (257 yds  /1.7 oz) for a bow;

for a dress I used Pekhorka Uspeshnaya  220 m/50 gr (250 yds/ 1.7 oz) in white.

· Corresponding hook, mine is 1.3 mm (US size 10)

· Lace for dress.

· Eyelashes. I used  human false eyelashes.

· Any means to add  tone to the mouth and cheeks. I use  red lipstick.

You will get a 10 cm (3.97 inch) piglet  without  ears if you use  the materials mentioned above.
