Stork bird brooch crochet pattern, PDF in Enflish

Stork is a wonderful bird, delivering happiness, kids and prosperity right at your door.

(Due to the presence of small parts, this toy is not suitable for the children under 10)

To crochet Stork you would need:

1. Basic crochet skills: chain stitch, magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase, double crochet

2. Materials:

• Yarn– all of the same thickness, mine is 100% mercerized cotton:

Dandy by Kamteks measuring 330m/50gr (360yds/1.76 oz) in white and orange;

Vita Pelican 330/50 (360yds/1.76 oz) in pink (for the bag) and brown (little for the draw-string)

• Corresponding hook. Mine is 0.75 (US size 12)

• Filler

• Eyes. Mine are 3 mm insertable eyes.

• Glue for the eyes, legs and bow. I have a CA-glue.

• Fine but firm wire for the legs.

• Any means to work with the wire.

• Any means to add tone to cheeks. I have a red lipstick and a blender brush.

• Scissors and needle

• Brooch pin, mine is 2 cm (0.7 inch)

• Optionally: pins, marker, sewing thread (I used in for the bag only)

If you use the materials, mentioned above, you’ll get a 6.5 (2.5 inch) cm brooch.
