Sleeping tiger brooch crochet pattern, PDF in English

I gradually add up to my collection of the “sleeping animals”

The written pattern in .pdf format consists of 7 pages and includes around 30 photos.

This crochet tutorial is written in English (US terms).

To crochet tiger you would need:

1. Basic crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, decrease, increase

2. Materials:

• Yarns, all of the same weight. I’ve used 100% mercerized cotton: basic yarn Dandy by Kamteks (330 m/50 gr (365 yds/1.76 oz)) in orange, white yarn Weltus Filo Di Scozia №8 ( 371 yds/1.76 oz)

• Matching hook. Mine is 0.75 mm (metric)

• Filler

• Black Mouline thread to embroider the snout and stripes

• Any dark means to add tone to the body. I’ve used dry black pastels + a cotton bud to add

• and blend

• 2 cm (~ 1 inch) brooch pin

• Scissors, fine needle

• Pins

• Stitch marker (I have a contrasting thread)

3. My detailed crochet tutorial. Good mood as an addition.

If you use the materials mentioned above, the size of the brooch will be around 4.5 cm x 2 cm (~2 inches x 1 inch)
