Busy Llama brooch crochet pattern, Alpaca brooch, PDF in English

Let’s crochet together these fantastic busy buddies. This brooch is sure to become an eye catcher.

The written pattern in .pdf format consists of 9 pages and includes around 40 photos, 1 video links where I show how I make do the hair.

To crochet Llama you wold need:

1. Basic crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase, chain stitch, slip stitch

2. Materials:

• Lace yarns, all of the same thickness. I’ve used Pelican by Vita 330m/50 gr (360 yds/1.76 oz), 100% mercerized cotton in light beige, lilac and brown (to make the scarf).

• Matching hook. Mine is 0.75 mm (metric)

• Filler

• Wool embroidery floss to make the fringe

• To do the fringe you will need: white glue solution/sugar solution/ hair spray/ transparent CA glue

• Black Mouline thread to embroider the snout

• 2 cm brooch pin

• Scissors, fine needle

• Stitch marker (I have a contrasting thread), pins.

3. My detailed crochet tutorial. Good mood as an addition.

Skill level – intermediate.

If you use the materials mentioned above, the llama’s height will be around 7.5 cm (~3 inches).
