Cheerful goose brooch croche pattern, PDF in English

Since the days became cold, my geese have dressed up. I decided to add some brightness to their clothes, since we do miss it in winter.

(Please note, that if you use beads or any other tiny parts like eyes to design the brooch, it will not be suitable for small children due to choking hazards)

This crochet tutorial is written in English (US terms), in .pdf format consists of 9 pages and includes around 35 photos, link to the video

To crochet goose you would need:

1.Basic crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase, chain stitch, slip stitch

2.Materials:

-Any lace yarn. The colors I use are all of the same weight. Mine are 100% mercerized cotton, Pelican by Vita 330 m/50 gr (365 yds/1.76 oz) in milk color (basic color), peach (paws and beak), mustard and red (clothes and hat).

-Matching hook. Mine is 0.75 mm (metric)

-Filler

-Any means to add tone to the cheeks. I used black and red dry pastels + blender blush

-2 mm eyes (beads will do)

-Brooch pin, mine is 2 cm

-Scissors, fine needle

-Pins

If you use the materials mentioned above, the height of the goose is 7.5 cm (~3 inches), hat included
