Sleeping Teddy bear brooch crochet pattern, PDF in English

One more quick-and-easy-to-make sleepy brooch to add to my favorite collection of the sleeping animals.

This crochet tutorial is written in English (US terms), in .pdf format consists of 9 pages and includes around 40 photos

To crochet bear you would need:

1.Basic crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase, double crochet, chain stitch, slip stitch

2.Materials:

Any lace yarn. My colors are all of the same weight. They are 100% mercerized cotton: Pelican by Vita (330m/50 gr – 360 yds/1.76 oz) in mustard (to make the body/pajamas), milk (main color) and white (snout) colors

Matching hook. Mine is 0.75 mm (metric)

Filler

Mouline thread – brown to design the paws, black to design the snout

Any means to add tone to the cheeks and body. I used black and red dry pastels + blender blush

Brooch pin, mine is 2,5 cm

Scissors, fine needle

Pins

Stitch marker (I have a contrasting thread)
