Fawn/Deer brooch crochet pattern, PDF in English

No outfit can do without a brooch, you can crochet this charming fawn and make it a part of your everyday look (Due to the presence of small parts, this toy is not suitable for the children under 10)

To crochet deer you would need:

1. Basic crochet skills: chain stitch, magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase, double crochet

2. Materials:

· Fingering yarns, all of the same thickness, mine are 100% mercerized cotton:

The basic one in brown – Pelican by Vita measuring 330 m/50 gr (360 yds/1.76 oz);

Dandy by Kamteks measuring 330 m/50 gr (360 yds/1.76 oz) in black for the legs and beige to make ears, tail and to embroider French knots

· Matching hook. Mine is 0.75 mm (US size 12) and 0.5 mm (US size 14) to crochet a flower using an embroidery floss.

· Filler

· Black Mouline thread to embroider the snout, yellow to crochet a decorative flower

· Eyes. Mine are 3 mm insertable eyes with a shank.

· CA glue for the eyes

· White sewing thread for the eyes

· Scissors, fine needle

· Brooch pin, mine is 2 cm (0.7 inch)

· Optionally: pins, marker
