Cobra snake amigurumi brooch crochet pattern PDF, ENG

This crochet tutorial is written in English (US terms), in .pdf format consists of 11 pages and includes around 45 photos

To crochet cobra you would need:

1. Basic crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase, half double crochet, chain stitch, slip stitch

2. Materials:

• Any fingering yarn. All colors are about of the same weight. Mine are 100% mercerized cotton, Pelican by Vita, 330m/50 gr (365 yds/1.65 oz) in green (main), white (eyes), brown and yellow (stripes on the hood and the body).
• Matching hook. Mine is 0.75 metric.
• Filler
• A cut (~15 cm) of fine wire for the body. I have a floristic wire 0.7 mm.
• Pliers and round pliers to work with the wire.
• Eyes. I have glass eyes with a stem 2 mm. Beads will do.
• Round pliers or glue to glue on the eyes
• Black embroidery floss to embroider the mouth and eyebrows
• Brooch pin, mine is 2,5 cm
• Scissors, fine needle, pins

 If you use the materials mentioned above, the broch will be 5cm * 5 cm (around 2 inch*2 inch)
