Little Tiger toy crochet pattern, PDF in English

Guess how many hours I spent playing with this toy after I’d crocheted it? I fell in love with it at once and now my little friend is always with me. It is my mascot. Just imagine what fun it would make if you crochet this tiger for a child. I think the child wouldn’t be less happy than me))) (Due to the presence of small parts, the toy made on this pattern IS NOT suitable for the children under 10)

Should we start as soon as possible?

Here is the list of what you’d need-

1. Crochet skills – chain stitch, magic ring, half double crochet, decrease, increase, tightening.

2. Materials:

• Yarn – all of the same thickness. Mine is Pekhorka Uspeshnaya 220 m/50 gr (250 yds/ 1.7 oz) 100% mercerized cotton:

orange as the main color, white for the snout and eyes, and black (or Black DMC thread) one to embroider the stripes.

• Corresponding  hook. Mine is  1,3 mm (US size 10)

• Filler

• 3 mm nail eyes

• Glue for eyes

• Cut of plastic for feet

• Scissors, tapestry needle to sew the parts

• Black DMC thread to embroider the snout

• Any wire for the tail and a sticking plaster for sharp ends

• Optionally: pins, stitch marker

If you use the materials mentioned below, you’ll get a 6.5 cm (2.5 inch) toy with straight legs and ears. It is able to stand leaning on its tail.
