Sleeping dachshund dog brooch crochet pattern, PDF in English

I continue to add up to my collection of the sleeping animals. I’ve already got a sleeping fox, bunny, tiger and sheep. And now I suggest we crochet this cute dachshund.

This crochet tutorial is written in English (US terms), in .pdf format consists of 7 pages and includes around 20 photos

To crochet dachshund you would need:

1.Basic crochet skills: magic ring, single crochet, decrease, increase

2.Materials:

-Any lace yarn. My yarns are all of the same weight. They are 100% mercerized cotton, measuring 330 m/50 gr (365 yds / 1.76 oz), Pelican by Vita in beige, little of black yarn to make the nose, Dandy by Kamteks.

-Matching hook. Mine is 0.75 mm (metric)

-Filler

-Black embroidery floss to embroider the eyes

-Metallized Mouline floss to embellish the brooch with French knots

-Brooch pin, mine is 2 cm

-Scissors, fine needle

-Pins

-Stitch marker (I have a contrasting thread)

3.My detailed crochet tutorial. Good mood as an addition.

If you use the materials mentioned above, the brooch will measure 5.5×2 cm (~2 inches x 1 inch)
