★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE, you must have basic sewing skills
★ FINISHED SIZE of the toy is about 26cm (sitting 17cm).
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

– Any fabric that does not stretch will do!
– I used furniture fabric (micro velvet) in black and white colors. A white piece 21cm high and 42cm wide will be enough, and if you’re cutting from a roll, a piece 12cm high will be enough (this is the height with allowances of the largest part). A black piece 24cm high and 42cm wide will be enough, and if you’re cutting from a roll, a piece 14cm high will be enough (this is the height with allowances of the largest part).
– Cotton fabric for the flower (8 pieces, 6cm high and 12cm wide each).
– Eyes Ø6mm 2pcs.
– Nose ~20x8mm. You will need a piece of plastic for the base part, hot glue, black fleece, black stretchy knitted fabric, see the instructions on pages 11-12.
– The head can be simply sewn to the body, or it can be made movable: T-head cotter pin (2х20mm – 1pc), discs (25mm – 2pcs); washers (2pcs). You will find a lesson on cotter pin joints on pages 13-14.
– Stuffing material (I used polyester filling, ball fiber).
– Black sewing thread (or floss) to embroider the eyebrows and mouth. White foamiran (or felt or thick fabric) for the whites of the eyes.
– Black and white sewing thread, a needle, scissors, a superglue, a sewing machine (you can do without it and sew everything by hand).
