Using this pattern you can create such a cute Penguin with your own hands!

★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE, you must have basic sewing skills
★ FINISHED SIZE of the toy is about 17.5cm.
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

– I used furniture fabric (micro velvet) in black, white and yellow colors. A black piece 25cm high and 42cm wide will be enough, and if you’re cutting from a roll, a piece 14cm high will be enough (this is the height with allowances of the largest part). A white piece 20cm high and 14cm wide will be enough, and if you’re cutting from a roll, a piece 13cm high will be enough (this is the height with allowances of the largest part).
Note: any fabric that does not stretch will do.
– For the scarf, I used plaid cotton fabric (a piece of 12cm high and 38cm wide is enough).
– Eyes Ø7mm 2pcs.
Note: for an interior toy, both glue-on and sewn-on eyes are suitable, but if the toy is sewn for small children I advise using safety ones.
– The head can be simply sewn to the body, or it can be made movable: T-head cotter pin (2х20mm – 1pc), discs (25mm – 2pcs); washers (2pcs). You will find a lesson on cotter pin joints on pages 10-11.
– Stuffing material (I used polyester filling, ball fiber).
– Pink sewing thread (or floss) to embroider the cheeks.
– Yellow, black and white sewing thread, a needle, scissors, a sewing machine (you can do without it and sew everything by hand).
