★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE (if you use thick yarn) and ADVANCED (if you use thin yarn)
★ FINISHED SIZE of the micro toy is about 2.5cm, fit into a walnut shell
★ SKILLS REQUIRED: You must be able to crochet micro toys. Also I added useful video lessons.
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS:
– Floss (Gamma, DMC, Madeira, Anchor or others) in 2 threads. I used Gamma floss, colors: blue (0081), light blue (0302), very light gray (5182), black (0420, to create a mane). And to decorate the face: a black thread (embroider eyebrows), white thread (embroider the semicircle beside the eyes), dark gray thread (to tint the mouth).
– Hook №0.7 (0.7mm)
– Fiberfill (to stuff)
– Glue eyes (2mm)
– Thin strong wire (preferably floral wire, thickness ~0.4-0.45mm, maximum 0.55mm), 2pcs 6cm long for the arms and 2pcs 6cm long for the legs. To attach the legs you will also need 4mm discs cut from thin plastic.
– A small piece of pink satin ribbon, pink sewing thread
– Needle, safety pins, scissors, adhesive tape, PVA glue, instant glue, glue (Moment Crystal), hot glue, round pliers, thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
