★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE, you must have basic sewing skills
★ FINISHED SIZE of the toy is about 23cm (arms are attracted to the tummy with magnets)
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :
– For the bear, I used furniture fabric (micro velvet) in beige color (a piece of 28cm high and 35cm wide will be enough, and if you take a cut from a roll, then a height of 18cm will be enough, this is the height with allowances of the largest part). For the muzzle, I used a slightly thinner plush fabric of white color with the same short pile.
Note: It is better to use a dense fabric that holds its shape well; any fabric that does not stretch will do.
– For the pants, I used cotton fabric in beige tones with a cute pattern (a piece of 15cm high and 35cm wide is enough, 15cm is the height with allowances of the largest part).
– Magnets Ø6mm 4pcs (attached to the arms and tummy).
– Eyes Ø7mm 2pcs.
– Buttons Ø12mm 2pcs.
– A small piece of felt (insert inside the nose).
– Stuffing material (I used polyester filling, ball fiber), as well as a piece of fiber padding (we will insert it inside the muzzle; instead of wadding, you can use a soft fabric like fleece in several layers).
– Brown sewing thread for embroidering the nose and mouth, as well as decorative stitching on the pants.
– A little bit of woven interfacing iron-on (for attaching magnets, and also for neat finishing of the top line of the pants).
– Beige sewing thread, a needle, scissors, an iron, a sewing machine (you can do without it and sew everything by hand).
