Bunny sewing pattern and tutorial, hare English PDF

Using this pattern you can create such a cute Bunny (which can stand without support) with your own hands!

★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE+, you must have basic sewing skills
★ FINISHED SIZE of the toy is about 19.5cm (with ears 29cm)
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

– I used furniture fabric (micro velvet) in gray and white colors. A gray piece 30cm high and 42cm wide will be enough, and if you’re cutting from a roll, a piece 19cm high will be enough (this is the height with allowances of the largest part).
Note: any fabric that does not stretch will do; I advise using a thick fabric with a light nap.
– For the scarf, I used plaid cotton fabric (a piece of 7cm high and 19cm wide is enough).
– Eyes Ø5mm 2pcs.
– Thin strong wire (preferably floral wire, such wire is more rigid and holds its shape better, thickness ~0.9mm). For the ears 2pcs ~18cm each, you’ll also need adhesive tape (see page 4). For the body 2pcs ~19cm each, you’ll also need 2pcs of plastic or cardboard for the soles, as well as a few beads or stones to weight the legs, and hot glue (see pages 7-8).
– For the arms, 2 small magnets (preferably rectangular shape, but round ones are also acceptable, size ~6mm).
– Stuffing material (I used polyester filling, ball fiber).
– Black sewing thread (or floss) to embroider the nose, eyebrows, mouth. White thin cord (or smooth cotton yarn) to embroider the semicircle beside the eyes.
– Gray and white sewing thread, a needle, scissors, a sewing machine (you can do without it and sew everything by hand), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
