This detailed BOSIKOSHA crochet toy pattern is for the most animate jam jar in the world. His name is Jeremy. Jeremy is a jar of raspberry jam, but you may show your fantasy and change yarn colors. As a result, you can make apricot, strawberry or even blackberry jam. What do you like best? Show your fantasy and create your own unique jam jar!

MATERIALS AND TOOLS

Final size of the toy with the recommended materials and tools ~ 11,5 cm (4,53 inches).

• Yarn “Cotton Gold” by Alize, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 330 m/100 g.

Body and arms color code 149 (raspberry) ~ 33 gr

Jar lid color code 55 (white) ~ 9 g

Decorative ribbon color code 287 (light blue), some yarn

Cheeks color code 518 (pink), some yarn

Freckles color code 83 (orange), some yarn to embroider

Just a note: You may use “Jeans”  by YarnArt, “Baby Cotton” by Gazzal or any similar yarn instead of “Cotton Gold” by Alize.

• For the eyes making I used 100% acrylic thread, 280 m/ 50 gr white (01) and black (02) colors. Also you may use MOULINE embroidery floss (cotton, 4 strands), cotton threads 150 m/25 gr.

• Crochet hook sizes 1,7 mm (main one); 1mm (to crochet the eyes)

• Toy stuffing (any polyfill stuffing)

• A piece of hard cardboard or plastic material to strengthen the bottom (d=8,4 cm or 3,31 inches)

• Black and white sewing threads (to sew the eyes and embroider the eyebrows)

• Long wide-eyed sewing needle to sew the parts

• Thin sewing needle (to sew the eyes and embroider the eyebrows)

• Scissors

• Pins

• Tweezers, a wooden stick to stuff the parts

• A running stitch marker (a cut of thread contrast color)
