Follow the BOSIKOSHA crochet doll pattern to finish the cutest little doll named Evi. Her outfit consists of: an adorable plain dress (looks quite comfortable), a lace hat, and an elegant apron, which perfect complements the doll’s image. As for the shoes, Evi prefers going barefoot, if the weather is fine.

Evi likes nature very much. She enjoys walking through the forest, picking mushrooms or berries into her favorite basket, which Evi’s loving  grandpa made for her.  Evi loves watching wild animals, birds and even insects, without being noticed. I would say she even has a specific feature to notice tiny life events.

You may frequently meet Evi on a river bank with a bunch of wild flowers taken from open meadows.

She is ordinary, but nice; natural, but magic at the same time. Evi is absolutely amazing.

PATTERN DETAILS

MATERIALS AND TOOLS

Final size of the toy with the recommended materials and tools ~ 18 cm (7,09 inches) from hat to toe.

You will need the following materials and tools to finish the pattern:

◆ Yarn Cotton Gold by Alize, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 330 m/100 gr.

– Body color code 67 (skin body) ~ 14 gr

– Hat, dress color code 688 (coffee with milk) ~ 12 gr

– Apron color code 62 (milky) ~ 1 gr

◆ Yarn Sandra by Adelia, 50% wool, 50% acrylic, 50 gr/90 m

– Hair  color code 06 (red orange) ~ 3 gr

Just a note: You may use any similar yarn instead of Cotton Gold by Alize: Jeans by YarnArt, Baby Cotton by Gazzal and other. Hair yarn can also be replaced with another similar yarn.

◆ Crochet hook size 1,7 mm (for the body and the apron), 2 mm (for the hat and the dress), 1 mm (to make button loops)

◆ Toy stuffing (any polyfill stuffing)

◆ 3 small buttons d=6-9 mm red color

◆ Mouline floss black color (for the pupils and the eyebrows), brown color (for colorful part of the eyes); you may choose sewing threads instead

◆ Threads copper color to sew the hair

◆ Threads to sew the buttons (black, brown or red)

◆ Long wide-eyed needle to sew the parts together

◆ Thin sewing needle (to embroider the eyes, hair sewing and buttons)

◆ Scissors

◆ Pins

◆ Tweezers, a wooden stick for stuffing

◆ A running stitch marker (a cut of thread contrast color)

It may help to choose any color shades you like best for your doll, but in this case you might need to adapt button size and threads colors for sewing and embroidering.
