Crochet Baby Tiger toy pattern – amigurumi Baby Animals series

Finish BOSIKOSHA crochet pattern to make a cute Tiger from “Baby animals” series. The body pattern differs from my first baby animals patterns, the changes help the tiger sit in a better way. Head making and details are similar. I really hope you enjoy my new tiger pattern!

PATTERN DETAILS

– PDF format;

– 26 pages of detailed instructions with more than 70 high-quality pictures;

– in English language with using American crochet terminology;

– crochet level: the confident beginner; you should know the following basic crocheting skills: magic ring, chain stitch, single crochet, increasing and decreasing, slip stitch, crocheting around spiral.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS

Final size of the work with the recommended materials and tools ~ 21,5 cm (8,46 inches)

• Yarn: Jeans by YarnArt, 55% cotton, 45% polyacrylic, 160 m/50 gr

Main yarn color to make the body color code 85 (orange) ~ 20 gr

Stripes color code 28 (black) ~ 2 gr

Feet, hands, inner part of the ears color code 01 (white) ~ 2 gr

Just a note: you may use any similar yarn: Cotton Gold by Alize, Baby Cotton by Gazzal and etc. instead of Jeans by YarnArt.

• 2 sewing eyes d.4 mm. I use plastic sewing eyes by “HobbyBe” SOP-4 (d=4 mm). You can use round beads instead.

• Size 1,7 mm crochet hook

• Toy stuffing (any polyfill stuffing)

• Strong thread (to sew and to make eyes sculpting simultaneously)

• Black sewing threads (to embroider the eyebrows)

• White sewing threads (to sew inner part of the ears)

• Long thick wide-eyed needle (to sew the parts)

• Thin sewing needle (to embroider)

• Scissors

• Pins

• Tweezers, a wooden stick (to stuff the work)

• Stitch marker thread (use contrast thread)
