ABOUT THIS PATTERN

This pattern includes step-by-step photo instructions and full-size pattern pieces to make a Christmas stocking in four different styles: with ruffle top, with plain turn-cuff, with ruffle edge turn-cuff, with ruffle cuff and bias tape. Add a special touch to your presents with these easy to make Christmas stockings!

Each stocking can be made in two sizes: MINI and LARGE to accommodate a MINI or LARGE doll or stuffed animal made with my pattern or any other Christmas gifts of a similar size.

Mix and match colors and prints to make many different Christmas stockings with just one pattern. You can make each stocking from two different fabrics, or use just one fabric for the entire stocking. There are so many options! All the stockings are fully lined.

Please note: The dolls and stuffed animals are not included! You can purchase them separately.

SIZE:

Mini Christmas stocking: height: 19 cm (7-1/2″), opening: 11 cm (4-3/8″), heel to toe: 16 cm (6-1/4″)
Large Christmas stocking: height: 28 cm (11″), opening: 17 cm (6-3/4″), heel to toe: 24 cm (9-1/2″)

Mini sized stockings perfectly fit all Mini dolls made with my patterns (13.5-16 cm (5-1/4″ – 6-1/4″) tall from head to toe).
Large sized stockings perfectly fit all Large dolls made with my patterns (22-27 cm (8-1/2″ – 10-1/2″) tall from head to toe).

All dolls fit inside the stockings completely, i.e., including the head, but long stand-up ears, horns, or hats may be visible, depending on a doll.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS: lightweight cotton (quilting cotton)

SKILL LEVEL: The pattern is suitable for those who have a basic knowledge of machine sewing and who are familiar with basic hand stitches.
