ABOUT THIS PATTERN
Save when you buy the patterns together! This bundle of patterns includes step-by-step photo instructions and full-size pattern pieces to make a mini astronaut bear stuffed animal and a space rocket.
ABOUT BEAR. The bear is wearing a spacesuit that includes an astronaut jumpsuit and a helmet. Both garments are fully lined, padded (to protect the astronaut in space of course!), close with snaps. This softie easily fits in a pocket and is perfect to take along for a walk or for a trip. Please note: the bear without a spacesuit does not stand without support, the bear in a spacesuit can stand, but not very steadily.
ABOUT SPACE ROCKET. The space ship is padded with medium weight fleece and holds its shape perfectly. There is a window on the front and a zipper on the back that runs the entire length of the space ship so the doll can be easily placed inside.

Bear: without spacesuit 15 cm (6″), with spacesuit 17 cm (6-3/4″)
Space ship: height 29 cm (11-3/8″), bottom diameter 10 cm (3-7/8″)

SERIES: The doll and the space rocket are part of my MINI doll series. All the MINI sized accessories fit this doll perfectly.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS: lightweight cotton (quilting cotton)
The spacesuit is padded with fusible low loft batting (soft, lightweight and light volume, about 2 mm (1/8″) thick). You can replace the batting with a thin lightweight interfacing, but the spacesuit may look less textured and voluminous.
The space ship is padded with medium weight fleece.

SKILL LEVEL: The pattern is suitable for those who have a basic knowledge of machine sewing and who are familiar with basic hand stitches.
