★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :
– Yarn:
You can use any yarn that is comfortable and/or suitable for you (I advise you to take cotton or smooth acrylic yarn).
– Slonim bobbin yarn in 2 threads (Belarus, cotton+acrylic, 100g ~ 808m, 42-45sc in 4 inches) also you can use Gamma «Iris» (cotton, 10g ~ 82m) or Yarnart Iris (cotton, 20g ~ 138m) or floss (Gamma, DMC, Madeira, Anchor or others) in 4-5 threads, black and white color. And to decorate the face: a black thread (embroider the nose and mouth), white thread (embroider the semicircle beside the eyes).
– Hook №0.9 (0.9mm).
– Cotter pins and joint disks: T-head cotter pin (1.6x16mm – 3pcs, for legs and head), discs for legs (14mm – 4pcs), disks for head (7mm – 2pcs); on such a small size you can do without washers.
– Wire 0.7mm thick. For the arms 1pc ~16.5cm long. I advise you to use steel wire (for example, floral wire, this wire is stiffer and holds its shape better).
– Fiberfill (to stuff)
– Weighting agent (granulate or several heavy beads)
– Glue eyes (3mm)
– Needle, safety pins, scissors, adhesive tape, instant glue, thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
