Panda crochet pattern, English PDF, keychain bear tutorial

★ Written in English, using USA terminology

★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE

★ FINISHED SIZE of the toy is about 10cm (if using the pointed materials)

★ SKILLS REQUIRED: You must have basic crochet skills. Also I added video lessons.

★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

– Yarn: You can use any yarn that is comfortable and/or suitable for you.

I used «Slonim» yarn (wool/acrylic, 50g ~ 200m, Belarus, 38sс = 4 inches), white and black colors. For bamboo I used floss, green, black and yellow colors.

– Hook №1.5 (1.5mm) for panda yarn, hook №0.9 (0.9mm) for bamboo yarn

– Cotter pins and joint disks: T-head cotter pin (1.6x16mm – 3pcs, for legs and head), discs for legs (10mm – 4pcs), disks for head (10mm for insertion into the body and 12mm for insertion into the head); on such a small size you can do without washers.

– Wire 0.7mm thick. For the arms 1pc ~12cm long. I advise you to use steel wire (for example, floral wire, this wire is stiffer and holds its shape better).

– Fiberfill (to stuff).

– Eyes 6mm, you can use safety eyes or glue eyes.

– For a bamboo branch you need a piece of empty pen rod (thick, from a gel pen, for example), 6cm long.

– Ring with chain (keychain mount).

– Strong thread for sculpting muzzle, needle, safety pins, scissors, adhesive tape, glue (Moment Crystal), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
