The finished toy measures approximately 17.3 inches (44 cm) when made with
the materials listed above.

Abbreviations (US terms):
MR – magic ring
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (single crochet 2 stitches together)
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain stitch
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
FLO – front loop only
BLO – back loop only
x6 – repeat the sequence between * and the end x times around (e.g. (sc, inc) x6
means repeat “sc, inc” six times in a row)

Materials
– Yarn: orange, black, bone white, gray
(#2 Fine, 55% cotton / 45% acrylic, 174 yds / 1.76 oz) – 1 skein of each color
– Crochet hook: 2.5 mm
– Needle, stuffing, scissors
– Hot glue or any other fabric-friendly adhesive that is convenient for you
– Small piece of black felt, approximately 2″ long and 1″ wide, as well as a
small piece of white felt about 1″ by 1″
– Plastic canvas (6 count – 6 holes per inch), approx. size 16,5″ x 1,5″.
Any color is fine (I used white)
– Two pieces of craft wire (each approximately 17″ long) and a pair of pliers
to bend them
