Difficulty level: Intermediate, advanced beginner.

This pattern does not contain crochet lessons. Basic crochet knowledge, the ability to read descriptions correctly and attentiveness are required.

Required Materials:

Fine/4ply yarn Yarn Art Jeans 50g/160m (55% cotton, 45% acrylic).

Colors and yarn consumption:

No.48 – beige (60 g), No.01 – white (15 g).

For the nose and eyebrows, No.70 – dark brown.

Clothes and accessories: No.11 – pistachio green (20 g), No.82 – khaki green (20 g),

No.84 – mustard (30 g).

Stuffing material – fiberfill.

Hook size 1.7 mm

Safety eyes 8 mm.

Wire with a diameter of 0.8-1mm – 2 pcs. of 20 cm each.

Scissors, sewing needle, sewing pins, adhesive plaster, stitch marker

Thick plastic as insoles.

2 buttons with a diameter of 8-10 mm (for shorts), 1 button with a diameter of 15‑20 mm (for the bag)

Abbreviations (American terminology):

MR – magic ring

CH – chain

SC – single crochet

DC – double crochet

INC – increase (2SC in one stitch)

DEC – decrease (2SC together)

SL ST – slip stitch

BLO – back loops only

FLO – front loops only

The height of the finished toy is about 35 cm (13.78 inches) if you use the yarn and hook size indicated in the description.

You are welcome to use any yarn, choose the hook size and keep in mind that the size and general appearance of the toy will depend on the yarn weight. Also, do not forget that for a toy of a different size, you need to choose the eyes of the desired diameter.

The pattern includes an additional description of  the shorts, bag and panama hat. The shorts  is a piece of clothing that can be removed.
