Difficulty level: Intermediate, advanced beginner.

This pattern does not contain crochet lessons. Basic crochet knowledge, the ability to read descriptions correctly and attentiveness are required.

Required Materials:

Fine/4ply yarn Yarn Art Jeans 50g/160m (55% cotton, 45% acrylic).

Colors and yarn consumption:

No.73 – light peach (40 g), No.07 – beige (15 g),

For the eyes and eyebrows: No.01 – white, No.53 – black,

For the basket: No.67 – light yellow (10 g), No.18 – light pink, No.03 – cream.

Hook size 1.7 mm.

Stuffing material – fiberfill.

Safety eyes 8-9 mm.

Scissors, sewing needle, sewing pins, stitch markers.

2 buttons – 10 mm

Abbreviations (American terminology):

MR – magic ring

CH – chain

T-CH – turning chain

SC – single crochet

INC – increase (2SC in one stitch)

DEC – decrease (2SC together)

SL ST – slip stitch

DC – double crochet

BLO – back loops only

FLO – front loops only

The alpaca stands on its own, without support.

The height of the finished toy is about 17 cm (6.69 inch) if you use the yarn and hook size indicated in the description.

You are welcome to use any yarn, choose the hook size and keep in mind that the size and general appearance of the toy will depend on the yarn weight. Also, do not forget that for a toy of a different size, you need to choose the eyes of the desired diameter.

The pattern includes an additional description of  the baskets. You can put sweets, flowers, Easter eggs or small gifts in the baskets.
