ABOUT THIS PATTERN

Save when you buy the patterns together! This bundle of patterns includes step-by-step photo instructions and full-size pattern pieces to make two mini softies: a love bug and flower doll. These softies are part of my Valentine’s Day collection. They are perfect for Valentine’s Day or any day!

ABOUT LOVE BUG. The bug has felt hearts at the top of its antennae and a heart-shaped nose and elytra. The bug is wearing a romper. It’s good to use a fabric with heart print for it, if you don’t have one, you can decorate the bib with a heart-shaped felt applique. The romper is fully lined, closes with snaps. You will find it easy to make in spite of its small size, using my technique.
ABOUT FLOWER DOLL. The doll is wearing a romper with a halter neckline. The romper is fully lined. You will find it easy to make in spite of its small size, using my technique.

The softies easily fit in a pocket and they are perfect to take along for a walk or for a trip. Please note: The dolls do not stand without support.

SIZE:
Love bug: 15.5 cm (6-1/8″)
Flower doll: without petals 16 cm (6-1/4″), with petals 18 cm (7-1/8″)

SERIES: These dolls are part of my MINI doll series. All mini accessories fit them perfectly.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
– lightweight cotton (quilting cotton) for bug, flower doll and rompers
– felt for hearts at the top of antennae
The elytra and leaf-arms are padded with fusible low loft batting

SKILL LEVEL: The pattern is suitable for those who have a basic knowledge of machine sewing and who are familiar with basic hand stitches.
