ABOUT THIS PATTERN

Save when you buy the patterns together! This bundle of patterns includes step-by-step photo instructions and full-size pattern pieces to make a mini deer stuffed animal and a kid’s bag shaped like a gingerbread house to carry it.
ABOUT DEER. This softie is part of my Christmas collection. The deer is wearing overalls with a front pocket, and you will find them easy to make in spite of their small size, using my technique. The overalls are fully lined, close with snaps. The deer easily fits in a pocket and it’s perfect to take along for a walk or for a trip. Please note: The softie does not stand without support.
ABOUT BAG. The size of the bag is ideal for carrying the mini deer. The bag is finished with a zipper closure. There is a window on the front panel to display a doll and an elasticated pocket inside the bag to keep the doll close to the window. The bag has enough room to put some other little things in it besides the doll. The bag is quilted and holds its shape perfectly. Make the bag with a long strap to wear it as a shoulder/crossbody bag, or with a short one to carry it in a hand. The bag is decorated with a stuffed wreath and two candy canes. But instead, you can use ready-made Christmas-themed buttons for crafting, beads, pom poms, or felt applique to decorate your gingerbread house. Unleash your creativity!
