ABOUT THIS PATTERN

Save when you buy the patterns together! This bundle of patterns includes step-by-step photo instructions and full-size pattern pieces to make two softies: a mini astronaut bear stuffed animal and alien doll.
ABOUT ASTRONAUT BEAR. The bear is wearing a spacesuit that includes an astronaut jumpsuit and a helmet. Both garments are fully lined, padded (to protect the astronaut in space of course!), close with snaps. This softie easily fits in a pocket and is perfect to take along for a walk or for a trip. Please note: the bear without a spacesuit does not stand without support, the bear in a spacesuit can stand, but not very steadily.
ABOUT ALIEN. The alien is wearing a romper. The romper is fully lined, padded (for extra warmth in space!), closes with a snap. This softie easily fits in a pocket and is perfect to take along for a walk or for a trip. Please note: the doll does not stand without support.

Bear: without spacesuit 15 cm (6″), with spacesuit 17 cm (6-3/4″)
Alien: 16 cm (6-1/4″)

SERIES: These dolls are part of my MINI doll series. All the MINI sized accessories fit these dolls perfectly.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS: lightweight cotton (quilting cotton)

The spacesuit and romper are padded with fusible low loft batting (soft, lightweight and light volume, about 2 mm (1/8″) thick). You can replace the batting with a thin lightweight interfacing with no loft at all, but the spacesuit and romper may look less textured and voluminous.

SKILL LEVEL: The pattern is suitable for those who have a basic knowledge of machine sewing and who are familiar with basic hand stitches.
