This knitting pattern puts a fun twist on the classic penguin by giving it a removable shark hoodie. It’s so cute and full of personality.

Techniques Used:

All pieces are knitted flat and then sewn together.
You should already know how to: Cast on, knit, purl, and cast off, increase (KFB, KRL, KLL) and decrease (K2tog, P2tog, K3tog)
Sew using Mattress Stitch and Whip Stitch

Materials

A pair of 2mm knitting needles (straight or circular)
Susan’s Family Alpaca yarn (or similar)
Toy stuffing (less than 100g)
5 stitch holders
Sewing needle, pins, scissors
White felt for the shark’s eyes

Finished Size

Your finished Sharky Penguin will stand approximately 15 cm tall.
