★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE, you must have basic sewing skills
★ FINISHED SIZE of the toy is about 25cm
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

– I used furniture fabric (micro velvet) in beige and brown colors. A beige piece 30cm high and 45cm wide will be enough, and if you’re cutting from a roll, a piece 14cm high will be enough (this is the height with allowances of the largest part). A brown piece 30cm high and 25cm wide will be enough, and if you’re cutting from a roll, a piece 14cm high will be enough (this is the height with allowances of the largest part).
Note: any fabric that does not stretch will do.
– Eyes Ø7mm 2pcs.
– Nose ~23x10mm. You can use a ready-made nose or make one from fabric.
– Thin strong wire (preferably floral wire, such wire is more rigid and holds its shape better, thickness ~0.6mm). For the ears 2pcs ~40cm each. Adhesive tape. Hot glue. Any stick (thick rod, pencil, pen…) to easily distribute the wire along the edges of the ear.
– Stuffing material (I used polyester filling, ball fiber).
– For the collar, you need a piece of red leather or faux leather 20cm long and 13mm wide. One small metal buckle of a suitable size (you can use the usual so-called “regulators”, they are used on straps to adjust the length, a rectangle with a crossbar). Several metal half beads for decoration.
– Black sewing thread (or floss) to embroider the bridge and eyebrows. White thin cord (or smooth cotton yarn) to embroider the semicircle beside the eyes.
– Beige and brown sewing thread, a needle, scissors, a sewing machine (you can do without it and sew everything by hand).
