Dear friends, please join me in sewing such a cute doll with a set of clothes.
The doll is 30 cm (about 12 inches) tall, clothes: panties, sleeveless dress, long sleeve shirt, trousers, socks and boots, coat (jacket) and bonnet.
Following this pattern you’ll be able to create both a girl and a boy doll.
I recommend using jersey fabric for the doll’s body, it helps making the doll’s body plump and voluminous while stuffing, all the patterns are designed keeping this in mind.
In this case I used 3-thread fleece footer fabric. I like this fabric, for the body turns out soft and elastic when stuffed.
However, you have to be attentive and skilled working with this fabric, because it is quite thick. If you’re not sure about your skills level, I recommend using 2-thread footer fabric (loop).
You must glue any fabric with stretch interfacing on the wrong side.
You will also need:
Different fabric pieces for the doll’s outfit, preferably cotton;
Soft and hard felt for boots;
A small piece of light stretch fabric for socks;
Yarn (preferably boucle or any bulky one) for hair;
Needle to needle felt the yarn to your doll’s head;
Acrylic paints in small amounts to paint eyes;
Chalk pastel or rouge to add blush to the cheeks
And a great creative mood.

This PDF e-pack only includes an A4 pattern for sewing the toy yourself.
The template is made in full size and is ready for printing.
The product can be sewn either by hand or using a sewing machine.
Please note that depending on the fabric composition and the density of the body padding, the size of the toy body may vary.
