MATERIALS:

1. 100% cotton yarn 50 g 125 m (1,8 oz 137 yds), yarn group 5 ply/sport. For example: Drops Loves

You 9, Vita Cotton Lily, Alpina Anabel, Kartopu Organica, Fibranatura Luxor, Gazzal Giza (size of the

toy made with this yarn is about 13 cm х 9 cm/ 5,1 in x 3,5 in).

The size of the toy also depends on how tightly you crochet.

Colours:

*Beige or white for the body (about 60 m/ 65 yds)

*Light blue, blue or red for the beak, comb and tail (about 15 m/ 16 yds)

*Black, red or yellow for the poppies (about 20 м / 22 yds)

*Light blue, blue, white or turquoise for flowers (about 20 м / 22 yds)

*Little amount of pink yarn for embroidering the cheeks.

2. Crochet hook according to your yarn (I use Clover 1,75).

3. Tapestry needle, sewing needle. Black thread to sew the eyes.

4. Black cotton thread for eyelashes (for example, Vita Pelican 50 g 330 m or YarnArt Iris 20 g 138

m or YarnArt Canarias 20 g 203 m).

5. Button eyes diameter 5 mm.

6. Polyester fiberfill.
