Panda crochet pattern, English PDF, alien Valentine tutorial

Using this pattern you can create such a cute Panda alien Valentine with your own hands!

★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE

★ FINISHED SIZE of the toy is about 16-17cm (if using the pointed materials)

★ SKILLS REQUIRED: You must have basic crochet skills. Also I added useful video lessons.

★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

– Yarn:

You can use any yarn that is comfortable and/or suitable for you.

I used «Pehorka New Kid’s» yarn (acrylic, 50g ~ 200m, 30sс in 4 inches), colors – white, black. For a heart – floss in 3 threads, red color.

– Hook №2 (2mm) for Pehorka yarn, hook №1 (1mm) for floss

– The plastic safety joints or cotter pins and joint disks: I used the disks 12mm in diameter for the arms (4pcs), 20mm in diameter for the legs (4pcs), 15mm in diameter for the head (2pcs), cotter pins 2х20mm (5pcs), washers – 10pcs

– Fiberfill (to stuff)

– Eyes 8mm. It will be more comfortable to use the plastic pin eyes, the classic safety eyes (screw) are also suitable (we don’t need a plug, only the eyes themselves), but it will be a little more difficult to work with them

Additionally, for the heart you will need:

– Thin wire (0.4mm) 1pc ~13cm long

– Metal small beads 5pcs, round white pearl beads 3pcs (Swarovski pearls for example, one bead smaller Ø3mm, the second larger Ø4mm, the third larger Ø6mm)

– 1pc of plastic or cardboard, 2pcs foamiran (or isolon) to insert inside the heart. Heart size 3×2.5cm

– Strong thread for sculpting, needle, safety pins, scissors, glue (Moment Crystal), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
