Following this Miniature baby horse or cow CROCHET PATTERN you will be able to make a calf or foal amigurumi toy, which can serve as a Blythe pet, a photo prop, a keychain, or just a tiny pocket talisman.

This crochet pattern is in English (US terms) and contains detailed instructions and auxiliary photo-instructions of the stuffed mini foal/calf toy creation.

You have to master basic crochet skills (single crochet, chain stitches, slip stitch, increase / decrease, etc.).

You will need:

o    o    yarn in light-brown, white and light pink (for the calf) (I used fine chenille, Ice Yarns Chenille, 50 gr/300 m);

o    textured yarn for the hair tuft and tail switch (for the calf) and mane and tail (for the foal) – you can use any fine pile yarn;

o    1.5 mm crochet hook and smaller crochet hook for finishing pieces and weaving ends;

o    stuffing material (polyester);

o    4-5 mm black half beads for eyes;

o    clear super glue to attach eyes;

o    buttons – 2 pcs;

o    strong thread of matching color for thread jointing of pieces (I used semi cotton Yarnart Jeans, 50 g/160 m, of matching color);

o    embroidery floss in brown and beige (for decoration);

o    strong fine thread for face sculpting;

o    scissors, marker(s) and other auxiliary tools and materials.

Finished size: If you crochet your toy with tools & materials recommended in this pattern your finished item will be about 3.5 in (9 cm).
