I use two threads (Brand Drops) for knitting the elephant and the clothes at the same time:

– the main thread is alpaca (or alpaca + wool) – 50g/170 m (Sport, 12 wpi)

– an additional thread is mohair and silk (“Drops Kid-Silk”) – 25g/210 m (Lace)

Toy stuffing – washable polyester (approx. 30 g)

Two black round loop backed eyes (diameter is approx. 6 mm)

White embroidery thread for the eyes

Equipment

One pair of 2.75 mm straight knitting needles (UK12/US2)

2.75 mm circular knitting needles for the dress (UK12/US2) – it is more convenient to use it instead of straight knitting needles

Crochet hook 1.6-2.0 mm (UK1/US1) for the buttonholes and crochet the edges of the ears
