Crochet pattern “Dragon Fruit or Pitahaya” (in ENGLISH)

This tutorial contains a detailed pattern of crochet Dragon Fruit (Pitahaya) with two eyes options («black and white» and colored eyes).

It`s LOW SEW pattern – you only need to sew the eyes.

When using similar materials, the height of the toy will be 11-12”.

You can crochet a toy from any yarn, only you will need to change eyes pattern (or use plastic eyes) and will have to choose the size of hooks yourself.

The pattern does not contain basic course of crocheting – you should already have the basic knowledge!

To crochet you need:

– plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby, Wolans Bunny Baby, Yarnart Dolce or analogues (100% polyester, 100g/120 mt or 3,53 oz/131 yrds):

* DARK PINK – 1 skein (Himalaya Dolphin baby №80314, Wolans Bunny Baby 100-07);

* WHITE color – quite a bit (Himalaya Dolphin baby №80301);

* GREEN color – quite a bit (Himalaya Dolphin baby №80371);

* YELLOW color – quite a bit (Himalaya Dolphin baby №80313);

– 4 mm hook / US size G;

– a little black, white and green (for colored eyes)  fine yarn 50 g/200 mt or 1.76 oz/218 yrds and 2mm hook;

– fiberfiller;

– scissors;

– stitch markers, needles or pins for fixing parts when sewing;

– the long yarn needle (with a blunt end and large eye).
