★ Written in English, using USA terminology

★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE

★ FINISHED SIZE of the toy is about 30cm (if using the pointed materials)

★ SKILLS REQUIRED: You must have basic crochet skills. Also I added  video lessons how to use cotter pins and joint disks and how to make fabric nose.

★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

– Yarn: Velvet yarn – Himalaya Dolphin Baby or YarnArt Dolce.

For a gray puppy dark and light gray (e.g. Himalaya Dolphin Baby 80320 and 80325).

For a brown puppy dark and light beige (e.g. YarnArt Dolce 754 and 771)

You will need one skein of each color.

Smooth white yarn to embroider semicircle beside the eyes.

The size of the dog is about 30cm.

– Hook №3.5 or №4 (3.5 or 4mm).

– Fleece fabric (either plush or suede) of a suitable color for inserts on the legs.

– The plastic safety joints or cotter pins and joint disks (can be replaced with any type of mount you are used to):

I used the disks 25mm in diameter for the arms (4pcs), 35mm in diameter for the legs (4pcs) and 35mm in diameter for the head (2pcs), cotter pins 2.5х28mm (5pcs), washers (10pcs).

– Fiberfill (to stuff).

– Safety or sewn eyes 20mm 2pcs (sewn are more comfortable!)

– Safety or sewn black nose 35x20mm (sewn are more comfortable!) The nose can also be embroidered or made of fabric or mold out of clay or felted …

– Fabric triangle for a scarf, size 40x28x28cm (I advise you to take a plaid fabric).

– Strong thread for sculpting, sewing thread, needle, safety pins, scissors.
