Dinosaur sewing pattern and tutorial, Dragon Eng PDF

Using this pattern you can create such a cute Dinosaur (dragon, lizard) with your own hands!

★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE, you must have basic sewing skills
★ FINISHED SIZE of the toy is about 28cm (sitting 19cm).
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

– I used furniture fabric (micro velvet) in green color. A piece 30cm high and 70cm wide will be enough, and if you’re cutting from a roll, a piece 21cm high will be enough (this is the height with allowances of the largest part). For the yellow belly and muzzle I used corset satin fabric. A piece 18cm high and 26cm wide will be enough, and if you’re cutting from a roll, a piece 18cm high will be enough (this is the height with allowances of the largest part).

Note: any fabric that does not stretch will do.

– Eyes Ø8mm 2pcs.

Note: for an interior toy, both glue-on and sewn-on eyes are suitable, but if the toy is sewn for small children I advise using safety ones.

– The head can be simply sewn to the body, or it can be made movable: T-head cotter pin (2х20mm – 1pc), discs (30mm – 2pcs), washers (2pcs). You will find a lesson on cotter pin joints on pages 13-14.

– Stuffing material (I used polyester filling, ball fiber).

– White foamiran for claws/growths/horns.

– Black sewing thread (or floss) to embroider the nostrils.

– Green and yellow sewing thread, a needle, scissors, a sewing machine (you can do without it and sew everything by hand), hot glue.
