The finished toy measures approximately 20,5 inches (52 cm) when made with
the materials listed above.

Abbreviations (US terms):
MR – magic ring
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (single crochet 2 stitches together)
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain stitch
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
FLO – front loop only
BLO – back loop only
x6 – repeat the sequence between * and the end x times around (e.g. (sc, inc) x6
means repeat “sc, inc” six times in a row)

Materials
– Yarn: black (2 skeins), gray, yellow, red, orange (1 skein each) – #2 Fine,
55% cotton / 45% acrylic, 174 yds / 1.76 oz.
– Crochet hook: 2.5 mm
– Needle, stuffing, scissors
– Hot glue or any other fabric-friendly adhesive that is convenient for you
– Small piece of red felt, approximately 6″ long and 0.3″ wide.
– Plastic canvas (6 count – 6 holes per inch), approx. 20″ long and 1″ wide
for the blade. Also, a small piece about 2.5″ x 2.5″ for the guard. Any color
is fine (I used white).
– Craft wire – two pieces, each approximately 20″ long, and a pair of pliers to
bend them.
