Crochet PATTERN Spiral hanging rattle for stroller and crib

The pattern contains English description of crocheting spiral baby hanging rattles – original and safe toy for newborn!
This spiral can be hung on a bed, on a stroller and used as an educational toy for a baby.

In the elements of toys are used different materials to increase the tactile sensations. Rattles, squeaker and other decorative elements are important for baby’s development.

The pattern is in PDF format and consists of 24 pages.

The sizes of the toy:
– unfolded length – 85 cm;
– rolled length – about 35 cm;
– in height (from the upper edge of the spiral to the edge of the lowest toy) – about 30 cm;
– an owl – 10 cm; bear – 11 cm; butterfly – 11 cm.

You need for work:
1. Yarn. Sport weight/4 ply yarn Yarnart Jeans (50g/160m, cotton 55%, acrylic 45%): 1) milky 03 (1 skein); 2) light pink 18 (1/2 a skein); 3) dark pink 36 (1/2 a skein); 4) light yellow 86 (1/3 a skein); 5) yellow 67 (1/2 a skein); 6) beige 07 (1/2 a skein); 7) white 62 (a little); 8-9) brown and black (for decoration – a little).
2. Hook. I have 1,6 mm.
3. Polyester toy filling. Fiberfill or any toys stuffing. Granulate (optional) – 30 g for the owl.
4. Wire and insulating tape. I have a wire with insulation with a diameter of 3 mm (the wire should keep its shape well), 1 m long. Insulating tape or adhesive plaster for wrapping.
5. Wooden ring. I have with a diameter of 7 cm, you can use a ring size 5.5 cm.
6. Rattle and squeaker. I have 1 piece of each, you can use more.
7. Elastic band. 2 pieces of 8 cm each. The width is ca. 1 cm.
8. Crinkle material plastic film/Roasting Sleeve (optional). A little to create a rustling effect in detail. I used it in flower petals.
