Crochet ENGLISH PATTERN doll Tom the Fisherman (Copy)

Crochet pattern in ENGLISH:

Pattern contain description of doll, bucket, hat, fish and fishing rod.

Pattern does not contain crochet lessons. You must have basic crochet skills. Skill level – medium.

Supplies

The size of a ready doll is 8,66 inches, if you use supplies mentioned below.

For the doll, a bucket and a fish you need:

1) yarn of 7 different colors: beige, blue, light-blue, white, brown, mustard, grey.

– YarnArt Jeans,  50g/160m, 55% cotton, 45% acryl, color 07 (beige) – for the body, color 17 (blue) – for jeans, color 15 (light-blue) -for the lapels and a bucket, color 62 (white) -for shirt, color 46 (grey) -for bucket;

– Alpina Rene Twist, 50g/125m, 100% cotton, color – 02 (golden) – for the hat and a fish (you can use YarnArt Jeans, color 84 (mustard) instead, but I reccomend you to use 100% cotton for the hat to make it hard enough);

– Alpina Anabel, 50g/120m, 100% mercerized cotton, color – 1037 (brown) – for hairstyle, belt and suspenders (you can use YarnArt Jeans, color 40 (brown) instead);

You can use any other yarn of the same characteristics.

2) a hook, suitable for the chosen yarn, I’ve used  Tulip 1,5;

3) alluminium wire of  1/1,5mm thick (1 piece of 8,27 inches long)  – for the arms, if you want to make them flexible;

4) moulinet thread of dark-brown, brown and black colors, a bit of   YarnArt Jeans, color 62 (white) – to embroider the face;

5) eyes 10mm and some strong glue, if you are going to glue them;

6) a piece of plastic or cardboard 3,94×3,94 inches;

7) 2 buttons of blue color of dia 12mm;

8) oil pastel  of peach/pink color (you can use blusher instead), a brush to tint;

9) pliers, scissors, pins;

10) a sewing needle and a tapestry needle;

11) fiberfill.

For the fishing rod:

1) 2 wooden skewers of 6,3 inches long;

2) 2 buttons of dia 12mm;

3) some strong glue;

4) a piece of cardboard 10х10mm;

5) acryl paints of brown color and a paintbrush;

6) alluminium wire of 1/1,5mm thick (1 piece of about 11,81 inches long);

7) Iris thread of black color;

8) 2 beads of  6mm and 10mm.
