This crochet pattern contains a detailed description of how to crochet Chicken and Rooster, with a  step-by-step photos (49 photos) and a list of necessary materials and it’s 18 pages length.

SIZE:

Chicken – 14-15cm,  Rooster – 19-20cm if you will be using same yarn and hook (2.0mm).

TOOLS AND MATERIALS:

Sport weight/4ply yarn Alize Cotton Gold Hobby milky color (code 62) main, for the Hen’s body and head;

DK Light Worsted yarn Alize Bahar brown color (code 179) for feathers;

DK Light Worsted yarn Alize Bahar light brown color (code 368) for wings and tail;

Sport weight/4ply yarn YarnArt Jeans mustard color (code 84) for feathers.

DK Light Worsted yarn Nako Calico yellow (code 04285) for beak and legs;

Sport weight/4ply yarn YarnArt Jeans of dark red color (code 66) for comb;

Some black yarn (“mouline” thread) for eyes embroidery;

Your favorite hook size 2.0mm;

Needle for sewing on pieces and face embroidery;

Any polyester toy filling to your taste (I use fiberfill or synthetic filling, which is available);

Stitch marker for marking loops (preferably!). If you haven’t got it – not scary, you can mark the end of the round with a contrasting thread;

Scissors;

Inspiration and a couple of cups of hot coffee, tea or cocoa of your choice =)
