★ SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE, you must have basic sewing skills
★ FINISHED SIZE of the toy is about 16cm (sitting 11cm).
★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

– I used furniture fabric (micro velvet) in beige and brown colors. A beige piece 10cm high and 12cm wide will be enough, and if you’re cutting from a roll, a piece 6.5cm high will be enough (this is the height with allowances of the largest part). A coffee piece 30cm high and 25cm wide will be enough, and if you’re cutting from a roll, a piece 8cm high will be enough (this is the height with allowances of the largest part).
Note: any fabric that does not stretch will do.
– Eyes Ø5mm 2pcs.
Note: for an interior toy, both glue-on and sewn-on eyes are suitable, but if the toy is sewn for small children I advise using safety ones.
– Nose ~15x7mm. You will need a piece of plastic for the base part, hot glue, brown (or beige) fleece, brown stretchy knitted fabric, see the instructions on pages 10-11.
– Stuffing material (I used polyester filling, ball fiber).
– Brown sewing thread (or floss) for embroidering the eyebrows and contouring the muzzle. White thin cord (or smooth cotton yarn) to embroider the semicircle beside the eyes.
– Beige and brown sewing thread, a needle, scissors, superglue, a sewing machine (you can do without it and sew everything by hand), thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
– To sew the hat, you’ll need white fleece (a piece 16cm high and 17cm wide will be enough). An orange fleece for the carrot nose, eyes Ø4mm 2pcs, black sewing thread (or floss) for embroidering the eyebrows, white pom-poms Ø15mm 2pcs, and two pieces of white cord, each about 6cm long.
